Genealogy Information - By Date

Instructions, if needed, are given below this form.

Fields with * are required.

For example, choosing 'July, 1945' with the first approach would allow any day within July and the use of abt, bef, or aft whereas with the second method the date must be exactly July, 1945 and '6 Jul 1945' would be ignored.

First, choose a date for which information is sought. This can be broad, by choosing just a year or narrower by choosing a year and month, or narrowest by choosing a year, month, and day. (The more restrictive, the fewer the records.)

Second, choose whether to use exact dates or approximate ones. If exact is chosen, then if January 1958 is chosen, then only those records with this exact date would be chosen -- both January 20, 1958 and abt January, 1958 would not be included. The approximate allows more flexibility both by including the prefixes 'abt', 'bef', and 'aft' but also allows more detailed dates to be included.

Third, choose which type of records or information to view. Selecting "All Records" is the same as choosing each of the other options. Then choose submit.

Finally, keep in mind that the records revealed may be reduced for several reasons: (a) The number of records are only as good as what I have done in adding and assigning properties. I may have not yet added all records or processed all of them. (b) If you are viewing these records without having logged in, they will only show those that pertain to those who have deceased (except censuses names given in obituaries). If you are a relative, logging will show all the records. Use the Contact menu item to check with me about gaining access, if you do not yet have access.
